Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • 1. The submission have to be printed in Microsoft Word. Paper size - A4, all fields size - 2 cm, text alignment - justified, no page numbers.
  • 2. Submission volume - from 8 to 18 pages (from 22000 symbols with intervals excluding abstract, summary and references).
  • 3. Font parameters: size - 11, type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1, paragraph indent - 1 cm.
  • 4. In the upper left corner UDC code must be printed (no paragraph, semibold, alignment to the left): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1.
  • 5. JEL Classification (no paragraph, semibold, alignment to the left): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1.
  • 6. First name and last name of the author(s) (spacing 1pt, no paragraph, italic, all letters uppercase, alignment to the left): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1.
  • 7. Academic degree, academic rank (no paragraph, italic, alignment to the left): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1.
  • 8. Affiliation of the author (s) with the address (no paragraph, italic, alignment to the left): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1.
  • 9. E-mail (no paragraph, italic, alignment to the left): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1.
  • 10. ORCID ID (no paragraph, italic, alignment to the left): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1
  • 11. Title of the submission (spacing 1pt, all letters uppercase, no paragraph, semibold, alignment - center): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1.
  • 12. Abstract and keywords in Ukrainian and English (spacing 1pt, italic, alignment - justified): font size - 10, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1, paragraph indent - 1 cm.
  • 13. Submission text (spacing 1pt, alignment - justified): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1, paragraph indent - 1 cm.
  • 14. The text should have the following highlighted elements:
    - problem statement and its connection with important scientific and practical tasks;
    - analysis of recent publications on the problem;
    - allocation of previously unsolved parts of the general problem;
    - formulation of research objectives (problem statement);
    - an outline of the main results and their justification;
    - conclusions and perspectives of further research.
  • 15. Pictures are presented in black and white on a white background, lines of charts and diagrams, all symbols on them should be clear and expressive. The picture is duplicated on a drive in a separate file in jpg format. If the picture is taken from a foreign publication, the inscriptions on it must be translated by the authors into the language of the submitted material. The title of the picture is printed under it, font size - 11, Times New Roman, normal, alignment - center.
  • 16. Formulas are provided using the built-in Microsoft Equation Formula Editor. Styles: Times New Roman, Normal - Text, Function, Numbers; Times New Roman, italic - Variable; Times New Roman, Fatty - Vector Matrix; Symbol - Symbol. Symbol, - Page Greek, Pr. greek Dimensions: Normal - 10 pt; Big index - 9 pt .; Small index - 7 pt .; Great symbol - 14 pt .; Small character - 11 pt.
  • 17. Tables should be compact. They schould have a serial number, located in the upper right corner of the table, the name (size 11, Times New Roman, semibold, alignment to the center), and their headers exactly correspond to the contents of the graph. Below the table is a reference to the source of information.
  • 18. References (spacing 1pt, no paragraph, semibold, alignment to the center): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1, paragraph indent - 1 cm.
  • 19. List of used sources (spacing 1pt, no paragraph, semibold, alignment to the center): font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman, line spacing -1, paragraph indent - 1 cm.

Author Guidelines

Requirements for the design of the structural elements of the submission:

Requirements for the abstract or author's summary of the submission in English and in Ukrainian:
• volume of abstract (in original language of the submission) - from 200 to 250 words (at least 2500 characters);
• Font parameters: font size - 11, font type - Times New Roman;
• line spacing -1, paragraph indent - 1 cm.
 
The abstract depicts the structure of the submission as obligatory elements:
• topicality.
• aim and tasks.
• research results.
• conclusion.
 
Requirements for the list of references:
• the list of references in Ukrainian have to be made in accordance with DSTU GOST 7.1: 2006, examples of design are posted on the websites:
• references in English have to be made according to the international bibliographic standard APA-2010. The names of periodical Ukrainian and Russian-language editions (journals, collections, etc.) are given in transliteration, and in brackets - in English;
• transliteration of the Ukrainian text into Latin should be done using the website http://translit.kh.ua or http://ukrlit.org/transliteratsiia and indicate on this site the standard transliteration "Passport (CMU 2010)";
• transliteration of Russian text into Latin schould be done using the website http://www.translit.ru and indicate on this site the standard of transliteration "US Department of State (BSI)";
• each transliterated source have to be structured manually (according to examples) or automatically using the websites:: http://www.citationmachine.net/apa/cite-a-journal/manual and http://www.bibme.org/apa/govt-citation;
• references should contain not less than 8 items with mandatory reference in the text of the submission, placed in the order of mention in the text (not in alphabetical order) in square brackets and placed in the order of citation or mention (example [1] or [2- 3]);
• referencts to the author's own work (self-citation) should not exceed 15% of the total number of sources.
 
Requirements for references to used sources:
• the author should refer to the latest publications (it is desirable not to mention the works of 10 years ago in references, with the exception of the work of famous economists-classics, original works that have kept their relevance, etc.);
• it is recommended to avoid references to: laws, regulations, instructions and other legal acts, as well as textbooks and manuals.
 
Requirements for quoting used sources:
• the text of the quote is given in quotation marks, in the grammatical form in which it is presented in the source, with the preservation of the features of the author's spelling;
• quotation should be complete, without any reduction of the author's text and the passage of words, sentences, paragraphs;
• each quotation is necessarily accompanied by a reference to the source.
